Reared in Augusta, Ga., and an artist before he went to design school, Darryl Moores looks at every project not merely as a solution to a need or a problem, but as an opportunity to create beauty for itself. This Registered Landscape Architect specializing in residential design-build finds that repeat business and word of mouth are his main sources of new business.

Moores graduated from the University of Georgia School of Environmental Design in 1983. After working for several major firms and gaining experience in all types of residential design and interdisciplinary interaction, he established Terra Verde in 1990. His portfolio includes projects for some of the finest homes in Atlanta and throughout Georgia. Moores's longtime goals are to maintain the quality and integrity of his firm and help every client to build their outdoor dream space.
